Energy storage cutter is a tool to cut slickline or wireline by triggering the release of internal stored energy with minimal force.

Regular Size

The energy storage cutter is made with upper energy storage disc spring and the lower cut blades assembly.
It can effectively cut off the downhole slickline or wireline at a place close to the head of rope socket, which is convenient for subsequent fishing.
Suitable for cutting 0-0.160 "slickline and 0-15 / 32" wireline.
After cutting the slickline or wireline, the bottom of energy storage cutter will clamp the slickline or wireline, and then can be pulled out together.
It is especially suitable for highly deviated wells and heavy oil wells.
Fast installation on site, simple operation and high safety.

It comes with both mechanical trigger and electronic trigger modes.

Install the energy storage cutter on the slickline or wireline.
Open the BOP and run the energy storage cutter into the well.
Run a flat bottom go devil in hole if it's not cut Successfully by gravity alone.
The energy of the disc spring stored inside is released instantly to push the blade to rotate and cut the slickline or wireline.

Set delay time by computer and install the energy storage cutter on slickline or wireline.
Open the BOP and run the energy storage cutter into the well.
If it's not cut Successfully by gravity alone, keep to do nothing until working time
